Each Santa Tresa label tells of Sicily, the intersection of cultures, art and landscapes
Santa Tresa is based in Vittoria, in the Ragusa region of Sicily, where it produces a kaleidoscope of oenological expressions. Santa Tresa’s wines are organic and vegan, they are the result of continuous research, which respects rhythms of nature, natural fertilization methods, the rediscovery of traditional cultivation techniques and the protection and augmentation of biodiversity. It is quality and rigour which inspires every phase throughout production.
Each Santa Tresa wine talks about Sicily and the intersection of cultures that have shaped the history, art and landscapes of this beautiful island.
The label of Santa Tresa Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG is a pure expression of a land cradled by the sea, that has welcomed people from far and near. Like the delicate layers of a shell, the stories of countless generations follow one another in a meeting of colours, symbols and styles, which, over the centuries have merged into a natural, perfect and true form. The red dot in the centre of the label represents a meeting of cultures: The Kingdom of Sicily, Greek Sicily, Romanesque Sicily, Norman Sicily and Bourbon Sicily. Each layer in the shell represents one of these eras, telling the story of extraordinary beauty and cultural mix found in Sicily.
The Rina Ianca Grillo Viognier label is a tribute to the art and charm of Norman fabrics. The motifs are taken from the royal cloak of Roger 11, founder of the Kingdom of Sicily, who welcomed people from all over the world to his court, regardless of religion, ethnicity or language.
The label for Rina Russa Frappato depicts the decorative black figures which are featured on Attic vases, a tribute to the many different peoples of Sicily.
The Rosa di Santa Tresa label depicts symbols and shapes found on ancient ceramics.
