A luxurious and refined box created by Pusterla 1880, with Icma Sartorial Paper papers and Luxoro hot colours and clichès, designed by O,nice! Design Studio. It’s the new PRINTlovers box, which will accompany our readers throughout 2022. Designed to collect the five annual issues of the magazine, print samples, materials and special finishes, it is the must-have item on every designer’s desk. The PRINTlovers box 2022 can be found at all the events of which PRINTlovers is a media partner and is available to all companies that want to convey their inserts to a specialised and profiled audience during 2022.

OUTER CASE
Offset printing (white + four-colour + protective matt varnish)

Case and drawer are laminated with 2 mm white unbleached cardboard, die-cut and mounted.
LUXOR® 220
The gold hot foil stamping is all achieved with this classic and versatile gold. In some places on the face bands, the colour has been applied with a micro-etched effect: its texture is very noticeable to the touch and the eye too. The micro-etched structure is achieved with hinderer+mühlich clichés.
LUXOR® 108138 Strato Sky
This is a very intense and deep midnight blue present on all the lettering in the box. On the front side, the 2 and the 0 have been micro-etched using a hinderer+mühlich plate. The result is a more multifaceted and sophisticated hot-effect tone, both to the eye and to the touch.
OUTER CASE PAPER
The outer sleeve is made of 110 gsm Icma GOLD 1425 paper with FSC® Recycled Credit certification, an absolute novelty in the world of luxury packaging. 100% recycled and recyclable, this paper has a metallic gold finish. The paper is not de-inked and is produced without chlorine and optical brighteners, and comes from an integrated production process. Icma, a charitable company, transforms paper ethically and sustainably, pursuing the goal of creating beauty through innovation.
PAPER DRAWER
The drawer is lined with 120 gsm WAVES 5192/182, paper from the Kind range, Icma’s Manifesto collection: 100% recycled and recyclable products, FSC® Recycled Credit certified, resulting from an integrated production process. This process recovers an ancient printing technique, used after the Second World War, which involves the application of matt gold colour in the grooves of the design.
The distinctive feature of Waves papers – an oriental-inspired series with a sober and harmonious aesthetic – is the calligraphic aspect that recalls the waves and leaves of Japanese prints.
