EYES ON ME!

The eye as a filter between reality and representation. An intertwining of stylised eyes – each one different, each one unique, and hand-drawn - puts authenticity back at the centre: an unfiltered, untamed gaze that returns to the roots of the sign as a human expression.
It is a call to the truth of the gesture, the spontaneity of the stroke, and the living matter of the image. The result is a mosaic that celebrates multiplicity and individuality, whose concept blends art and thought, as well as technique and meaning. A cover that captures the attention like precious packaging while inviting us to reflect on the way we see.

At a time when images flash by and our gaze risks becoming distracted and superficial, this cover invites us to stop, observe and choose where to rest our eyes. It is an invitation to look and rediscover the value of detail that often eludes an in-depth look.
Today, more than ever, looking is choosing. The gaze is everything: it is gesture, matter, and message.

The cover paper
myCordenons myPur Coton Fumo 250 g/m²
myPur Coton is the new range produced with 100% cotton fibres that give the paper a soft texture and a unique surface, perfect for those seeking excellence in every detail. It is the ideal choice for those seeking quality, durability and elegance in their writing and printing projects, and is available in 4 colours: White, Candido, Fumo and Nero and in different weights from 120 to 500 g/m² depending on the colour.

Printing and finishing
The cover was printed by Erredue1973 in 5-colour UV offset (CMYK and cold foil) using the Moon Foil® technique on OROPRESS silver foil. This technique, developed by Erredue, allows cold foil printing to be used on natural papers with a particular texture, such as the one used, exceeding the limits of coated paper.

Cold and hot foil
The cover stands out for the combined use of two finishing techniques to enhance the project's visual impact. The first technique concerns the graphic rendering of the eyes, achieved through the application of Cold Foil Bright Silver. This highly versatile foil makes it suitable for a wide range of substrates, from coated to natural and rough papers. It guarantees flawless coverage and extremely high print definition. After application, the foil was overprinted in offset, allowing the production of vivid and brilliant colour shades with a dynamic and deep final effect.
The second technique is hot stamping, which enhances the word “Lovers” and the claim “A ME GLI OCCHI!” (Eyes on me). Foil 464S52 was chosen in the new Ultra Matt Fuchsia shade, a satin finish with a velvety texture, thanks to its special resin-based formulation and matt polyester backing, which give the foil an elegant and distinctive look.
