Luna di Ponca
Spazio Di Paolo for Borgo Conventi
Ponca is a terrain in which marl and sandstone alternate, in a particular rocky conformation associated with viticulture only in the area straddling Friuli, Slovenia and Istria.
The Ponca thus appears as an alternation of hard layers characterised by calcium-cemented sand (sandstone) and a softer layer (marl) formed by weakly cemented silt. A spectacle of nature that welcomes the vineyards of the villa of Borgo Conventi in Farra d'Isonzo, which becomes even more evocative when kissed by the golden light of the moon. From this stratification enhanced by reflected light, "Luna di Ponca" created by Spazio Di Paolo, comes to life - the first label of the new course of the historic winery owned by the Moretti Polegato family since 2019.

Cover paper
Fedrigoni LIFE, 300g
Life is the Fedrigoni collection of natural and recycled paper and cardboard, composed of 80% recycled fibre and 20% FSC-certified pure cellulose. The paper symbolises sustainable living, like the pulp from which it is made.
Life, because it is pure life.

Back cover paper
Fedrigoni SAVILE ROW TWEED, Brown, 300g
It is called Savile Row because it recalls the famous London street where the best tailors produce their clothes. The woven effect is provided by the purity of ECF certified cellulose (60%), the softness of cotton fibres (20%) and the inherent variety of textile fibres (20%). The Tweed version shows the iconic embossed pattern and is available in seven elegant colours.

Label

Freelife Merida White FSC TM - Manter by Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives
Uncoated felt-marked paper made from natural cotton fibres and containing a high proportion of recycled fibres. Its premium appearance and sustainability features make it a perfect material for luxury product labelling, striking to the eye and touch with its natural, textured finish.

Tintoretto Gesso Recycled H+O WS FSC TM - Manter by Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives
Fedrigoni's historic Tintoretto range, one of the most loved by designers worldwide, is enriched by the new Tintoretto Gesso Recycled, a paper with 100% recycled fibres. A premium material that combines the technical performance and quality for which the Group has always been a spokesperson, with a quest for ever greater product circularity. Combined with H+Opacity™ technology, specially developed to preserve the initial opacity and premium image of labels facing the demanding challenge of ice buckets and temperature changes.

Ultra White Cotton WS - Manter by Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives
The lovely felt-marked texture and the delicate natural white nuance of Cotone Bianco make it one of the most popular self-adhesive papers. Its high thickness makes it perfect for printing embossing and debossing finishes. Produced in the historic Fedrigoni plant in Fabriano without cellulose fibres but with pure cotton fibre, a plant that renews itself annually, this paper is attentive to its impact on the environment. A particular mildew inhibitor makes it suitable for labelling quality wines and spirits destined for cellar ageing. ULTRA WS™ technology prevents the formation of wrinkles and bubbles and the deformation of the label in case of temperature changes and contact with water or ice. It also improves the adhesion of the label to the glass without causing edge-lifting problems.

Hot-foil and cliche colours

Label
LUXOR® 220
The half-moon that is the label's central figure is made precious by hot-foil stamped gold: LUXOR® 220 is a classic, luminous gold that is well-suited to emphasising the evocative elegance of the central image. The label is the culmination of a tribute to Ponca, a vibrant and varied ecosystem, here recalled by the different finishing solutions.

Inside front page
Beyond Blue
Rusty Earth
The terraces that create movement on the surface of the paper are the result of dry embossing with a hinderer + mühlich Italia printing press, as are the facets that characterise the blue of the water, which shimmers with infinite reflections; the Beyond Blue is, in fact, hot printed with micro-etching. Finally, Rusty Earth is the colour that represents the elements of the earth, a metallic rust, and is also hot foil stamped with hinderer + mühlich Italia clichés.

Label printing and finishing

The label is made by Grafical with the overlapping of three different materials. The lower part is printed in black plus hot foil. The middle part is simply die-cut and applied to the first label, while the last label is printed in black with thick varnish and progressive numbering. The execution skill lies in the combination of the three materials.

Printing and enhancement of the inside front page
The board onto which the label is glued is printed on one side in white Offset HUV; on the other side, we have two hot colours, Beyond Blue and Rusty Earth, and an embossing.
